ARTWORKS VIENNA RECORDS sees itself as a music and record label with an international focus and based in Vienna, as a producer of high-quality music productions on an international level, made in Austria.
We try to meet the highest demands not only artistically and technically. We are also breaking new ground with the design of the albums. True to the motto "the eye listens too", we strive not only to incorporate the "avant-garde" and "eccentric" style into the cover design, but also want to arouse the listener's fantasies and stimulate them, tailored to the artist, to enter the world of the album's music not only soberly factual, but also emotionally.
Productions at the highest level
In terms of sound technology, we produce using the latest sound that is currently technically available. With our Special Natural Processed Stereo Sound (SNP-Stereo) - "a complete new way of realistic an natural sound", we try to give the productions a very personal touch. As a listener, you will experience recordings on a new level. The very natural and at the same time immediate listening experience surrounds the listener with a cloud of sound and pulls them right into the middle of the music.
Our classical productions also focus on the scientific consideration of the composer and work of the respective production. Each album is supplemented with a corresponding musicological contribution, for a better understanding for the listener and out of respect for the composer.
The focus of every musical creative act is the artist. The working conditions under which some albums are produced these days are often not artist-friendly and often stifle creativity in the bud. ARTWORKS VIENNA RECORDS takes a different approach here. It is important to us that the performing artist enjoys the greatest possible freedom and a creative environment in the production of his album. Because immortal music is also created through harmony, among other things.
What's an artist without applause?
Without an audience there is no applause, which is why the audience does not play second fiddle with us, because the audience ultimately decides whether an artist or a production is successful. It is therefore our task to make the new productions accessible to a broad audience so that the audience can decide. This is done together with our partner Edel Music Germany.
In the history of music, there are numerous examples in which music managers have given their protégés no chance of success. But what would the music scene be without greats like Falco, Elvis Presley, Monsterrat Caballé or Luciano Pavarotti? All these public favorites would not have been able to get record deals in the beginning if they had not believed in themselves and been convinced of the rightness of their path.
ARTWORKS VIENNA RECORDS therefore has the philosophy to support the artist and his musical creation, not to prevent it. This is also the reason why we do not want to commit ourselves to a musical style.
Because our credo and our mission are:

A musician does not yet make an orchestra
Coming from classical music, the focus is on classical productions, but a piece of music also consists of many different notes and tones. Genres such as jazz, pop, musical, world music, cantautore, chanson, singer-songwriter, rock and many more have conquered the world in the last century.
True to the saying of Luciano Pavarotti: “There is no serious and no popular music, there is only good or bad music” and “Music must be accessible to everyone". A song is there for everyone “we bring music from all styles to the market with high quality for a very diverse audience.
Many of the artists at ARTWORKS VIENNA RECORDS are highly professional musicians who have been in the music business for years. But we also support newcomers who are just at the beginning of their careers with their introduction to the market. Because on the one hand, the quality counts for us and not just the experience, on the other hand we want to offer our audience a wide range of music.
Therefore there is no limit to the age of our artists. "You do it, if you are ready"! to quote Luciano Pavarotti again.
Johannes Heesters was still active artistically and especially vocally at the age of over 100, better than some of his younger colleagues. Young artists, on the other hand, often make music more spontaneously and have a concentrated amount of creativity.
It is our goal to not only delight audiences and music consumers with an abundance of new productions in the next few years, but also to take them on a journey of discovery through the wonderful cosmos of music and thereby enrich their lives.
