Reinhild Köhncke, who grew up in Glücksburg in northern Germany and now lives in Düsseldorf, appeared on stage for the first time in the role of the little mermaid when she was 15. After this first stage experience, she realized that she wanted to be an actress.
Reinhild Köhncke has been working as a freelance actress for many years and has been part of the Neersen Castle Festival ensemble since 2016.
Various engagements have taken her to the children's and youth theater of the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus, the Magdeburg Theater, the Schwerin State Theater, the Rheinische Landestheater Neuss, the Comedy Düsseldorf and the Contra Kreis Theater in Bonn.
She also moderates concerts with the Duisburg Philharmonic, the Düsseldorf Symphony, the Bonn Beethoven Orchestra and the Bochum Symphony, among others.
Reinhild Köhncke can also be seen with her own programs: together with the pianist Maren Donner in the chanson evening "Poison, forget, forgive" with songs by Georg Kreisler and Friedrich Hollaender and the recital "Frauenbilder", a portrait in words and sound, in which Maren Donner (pianist), Sandra Schares (mezzo-soprano) and Reinhild Köhncke (reading) devote themselves to the works of Alma Mahler Werfel and Clara Schumann.
